It is possible to display a web page from another web site or one that you upload via FTP (if you have this feature). You may display these pages within the
Content Window or load them in a new window.
To do so follow these instructions:
- Create a page within the Website Controls > Manage Pages and Galleries
- Name the page "Blog", "Slideshow" or whatever makes sense
- Click the Edit button beneath the page once it has been added
- From the Page Settings tab, choose whether the page is password protected, where it loads, etc...
- From the Page Content tab, click the Add New Content Here button
- Select External Web Page from the Page Assets window
- Add the URL to the desired web page - make sure you include the http://
- Press the Update button to apply the changes
- The web site will load in the Content Window by default. If you wish to make the page load in it's own window then change this setting in the Page Settings tab > This page opens in > New Window
Please note that not all external web pages that you load into your
Content Window will function properly as they may have javascript code which conflicts with ours. You should thoroughly test all your pages if you choose to use this method. If things to not work as expected, you will have to make these external web pages load in a new window (step 9).
