How can I add links to file downloads in mass emails instead of attachments?

Unfortunately attachments cannot be added to mass emails mainly for security reasons and deliverability. However it is possible to provide links to file downloads that are available on your website.
  1. To to this you first need to create a page and add a Downloads Asset to it.
  2. Next you need to upload a file for download. The two allowed files types are PDF or ZIP files.
  3. Once added you will be able to right-mouse click on the provided link and copy the URL of the downloadable file. Every browser is slightly different but it will say something like, Copy Link or Copy Link Location.

Once you have copied the link,
  1. the next thing to do is insert some text into your the Mass Email Composer, which says something like, Click here to download my file.
  2. Next highlight the copy with your mouse and then click the Insert Hyperlink button from the button bar in the Mass Email Composer window.
  3. Paste the URL where appropriate.

Make sure you test your email before sending out.
