To password protect your site or pages & galleries within your site, you will need the
Password Protection feature.
Page or Gallery Password Protection
To password protect a page or gallery, simply enter in a password here:
Website Controls > Manage Pages & Galleries > Click Edit beneath the appropriate page/gallery > Page/Gallery Settings Tab > Page/Gallery Password
Password Protect Entire Site
To password the entire site, simply add a password to the page or gallery that you declared as your home page (this page is the first to appear when website loads option in the Page Settings tab)
Hint:
If you apply the same password to multiple pages, then the user will have access to all of the pages that share the same password after they successfully log into the first one.
Hint:
Passwords are case sensitive.
Note:
After 20 minutes of inactivity, a user's session will expire and they will be required to log-in again.
Disclaimer:
Password protection is provided as a PGP (pretty good protection) deterrent but should not be used for highly sensitive materials as we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your digital assets or content. For added security consider making your content available in PDF or ZIP files that contain their own passwords.
