My email is failing or being rejected because my inbox is full. What should I do?

If your emails are being rejected because your inbox is full then it is likely that you are only using webmail to send and receive your emails or you have not configured your computer's POP email software (Mac Mail, Outlook, etc) to delete messages from the server after it has downloaded them to your computer.

To remedy the problem quickly, please follow these steps:
  1. Log-in to your email's webmail account at http://webmail.bigblackbag.com
  2. Delete unnecessary messages from your inbox, and spam folders
  3. Delete All Messages from within the Deleted Items folder
To prevent your inbox from filling up in the future you should set up your computer's POP email software to delete mail from the server after it has downloaded the messages to your computer. You can set it to delete the messages from the server 1 week after the initial download which is the best setting as it will allow you to view messages that have already been downloaded for up to one week via webmail should you need to see them there.
