The following assumes that you've already added a Text/HTML asset to a page and are creating a hyperlink within the text or to an image you inserted.
To create internal links to pages within your own website, you need to do is the following:
- Click on the image or highlight the text you wish to turn into a hyperlink in the text area
- Click the Link button in the editor's tool bar
- Select Other from the Protocol menu
- Paste in the Internal URL of the destination page or gallery which you can find in the Page/Gallery Settings tab
- Press the OK button
Note: Please do not set the target to "_self" if trying to open the page in the Content Window as it will do this by default.
To create external links, you need to do is the following:
- Click on the image or highlight the text you wish to turn into a hyperlink in the text area
- Click the Link button in the editor's tool bar
- Select URL from the Link Type menu
- Select http:// from the Protocol menu
- Paste in the URL to the web page you'd like to link your viewers to
- Click on the Target tab
- Select New Window from the Target menu
- Press the OK button
